Rob Zombie has ditched his band mates (I, for one, will admit that I'll miss the visual appeal of White Zombie bassplayer, Sean Yseult) with a slight name change, but there's not much different. The music is poppish heavy metal with a strong abrasive dance beat. influenced by a strong B-movie culture. This is clearly evident in tracks like Call of the Zombie, Living Dead Girl, and Return of the Phantom Stranger. A fun album with some pretty cool liner notes.
